WE DID IT!!! A huge THANK YOU to the cast and crew for such an AWESOME shoot and to all of YOU who have supported us on this incredible journey!!! Day 1 found us battling freezing temperatures and biting winds up on the high bluff but we endured and captured amazing shots!!! Day 2 found us in better conditions down on the beach where we worked like crazy and laughed ourselves silly! Our song of the day was Jack Sparrow featuring Michael Bolton! Thank you to The Lonely Island for such an inspiring song which provided endless merriment to our cast and crew…I refuse to admit how many times this song was played! The shots were GORGEOUS thanks to our amazing director Alex O. Gaynor whose work is just breathtakingly oh so beautiful! The performances by our lead actors Jeannie Bolét and Brahm Gallagher were outstanding! Truly a joy to watch!!! A massive thank you to our small but mighty crew Jeremy Rush and Adam Douglass who walked countless miles and braved the elements…including a “bag of ticks”! (A brave soul you are Jeremy!) And last but not least…THANK YOU to all our Kickstarter supporters and our dear friends and family who have showered us with love and support along the way! We could not have done it without you!!! With a lot of heart and a lot of hard work, the Everything, Almost team has captured something truly special!!! We can not wait to share it with you all!!! Updates on post production soon to follow! This past Sunday Alex, Jeannie, and I scouted out locations up in San Luis Obispo County! Armed with a camera, the script, and some munchies we mapped out the locations in the script and walked for miles… milesssss to achieve a believable England in the midst of California… and gosh darnit! WE FOUND IT!!! Breathtaking and gorgeous sights galore!!! Sweet perfection!!!

Also, great news on the fundraising front! We are thrilled to report that we have met our goal amount on Kickstarter!!! Your outpouring of love and support is fueling us forward!!! We appreciate all your pledges and are so grateful for every additional pledge that continues to come in!!! Every bit counts!!! THANK YOU!!!

Argon Entertainment is thrilled to be co-producing with Le Petit Couer Films on the short film EVERYTHING, ALMOST, a narrative short film written by Jeannie Bolét and directed by Alex O. Gaynor (Wid Winner & the Slipstream).

Set along the English coast, EVERYTHING, ALMOST is about love and letting go of it when it’s only potential is to send you into a downward spiral, despite how much you want it to work.  The story is inspired by Bolét’s feature length screenplay, BEARCAT, a finalist in 2010′s Slamdance festival and Writemovies Screenwriting contest.

EVERYTHING, ALMOST: a heartbreaking tale of a girl, a guy, and a beta fish embarking on a day trip that will ultimately mark the end of an era and a love that was just never meant to be.
